Frequently Asked Questions

General Information

Combat Aquatics is an immersive guided experience that replicates the mindset, precision, and tactics of being a fighter pilot — all on the water. Participants take the controls of specially designed HydroFighters™ in a structured, mission-focused adventure.

This is a fully guided experience. You'll never be alone on the water — every session is led by experienced instructors who provide constant guidance and supervision.

Unlike standard jet ski rentals, Combat Aquatics is a guided, immersive experience designed to teach real-world skills in a safe, structured environment — combining excitement with purpose.

Safety & Requirements

No prior experience is necessary. Each session is tailored to the participant’s skill level, ensuring that both beginners and experienced riders are challenged appropriately. Our goal is to push participants to improve — but never beyond what they’re comfortable with — so they always feel in control, like a fighter pilot.

Yes. Combat Aquatics is designed to be safe and accessible for all skill levels — including beginners. Our guided structure ensures that participants are never left to navigate challenging situations alone. Instructors are trained to assess each participant's comfort and abilities, adjusting the pace and complexity of the session accordingly.

Additionally, Combat Aquatics is open to children and minors, in accordance with local and state laws governing personal watercraft operation.

Every participant is equipped with comprehensive safety gear to ensure a secure experience:

✅ Life Jacket: U.S. Coast Guard-approved for flotation and impact protection.

✅ Helmet with Integrated Communication: Provides head protection and allows clear, real-time guidance from your instructor.

✅ Protective Goggles: Shields your eyes from spray, wind, and debris.

✅ Whistle: Each participant carries a whistle for added safety signaling.

✅ Fire Extinguisher: Every HydroFighter is equipped with a personal fire extinguisher for added protection.

✅ Optional Gear: Gloves and water shoes are available for added comfort and grip.

In addition, our instructors carry a comprehensive first aid kit, tow ropes, and have remote shutoff control for all vehicles to ensure your safety throughout the experience.

While uncommon, falling off is generally a minor event. Here’s what happens if you end up in the water:

✅ HydroFighter Auto-Shutoff: The vehicle’s engine automatically cuts off the moment you leave the seat, ensuring it won’t continue moving without you.

✅ Life Jacket Protection: Your U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket will keep you afloat.

✅ Helmet Protection: The full wrap-around helmet shields your head from impact.

✅ Instant Communication: The integrated waterproof communication system keeps you in constant contact with your instructor for immediate guidance.

✅ Remounting Support: During the pre-mission brief, you’ll be shown how to safely remount your HydroFighter from the water. If needed, your instructor can assist you directly.

✅ “Knock-It-Off” Protocol: If any participant falls off their vehicle, all vehicles will stop, and the instructor’s full attention will shift to ensuring your safe return to your HydroFighter.

Our structured safety protocols ensure that — no matter what happens — you’ll be safe, secure, and supported at all times.

The Experience

The standard Combat Aquatics experience is designed to provide one full hour on the water. Including check-in, gear setup, mission briefing, and post-mission debrief, plan for about two hours total.

If you'd like more time on the water or a more extensive debrief session, we’re happy to accommodate whenever scheduling allows. Extended sessions may include additional costs.

Your Combat Aquatics experience includes:

  • Pre-Mission Briefing: Learn the tactical concepts, communication protocols, and techniques you’ll use on the water.
  • On-Water Experience: You’ll take the controls from start to finish, guided by your instructor with continuous communication.
  • Debrief (Optional): Every experience includes a brief post-mission review. For those interested in a more detailed analysis — including a breakdown of performance, tactics, and decision-making — extended debrief sessions are available as an add-on.
  • Cockpit Footage: Available for purchase, this footage includes performance overlays for detailed review and analysis.

Yes! From start to finish, you’ll be in control of your HydroFighter™. Your instructor will provide guidance and feedback throughout the session using integrated radio communication, but you’ll be the one commanding the craft.

For comfort and safety, we recommend:

  • Water-appropriate clothing — Neoprene shorts or similar gear are ideal (available for purchase if needed).
  • A long-sleeve shirt for sun protection.
  • Water shoes if you have them (we can provide them if needed).
  • No jewelry — Loose or sharp objects are a liability in the water and should be removed prior to the experience.

If you’re unsure what to bring, we’re happy to provide guidance before your scheduled session.

Yes! There are no restrictions on personal cameras. Additionally, we offer cockpit footage for purchase that overlays performance data, giving you a detailed view of your experience for review or sharing.

Spectators are welcome, but please note that we don’t have designated viewing areas. Depending on the location, your experience may not always be visible from the shoreline.

We typically focus on working with one participant at a time to provide personalized guidance. However, if you’re interested in a private group session, we’re open to discussing options that best fit your needs.

Booking & Logistics

We are currently developing a dedicated private facility at Harmony Hills in Stratford, Oklahoma. Stay tuned for updates as our permanent home takes shape.

Booking is easy — you can reserve your spot online or contact us directly to schedule your experience.

Yes. All participants are required to sign a liability waiver before their session. This helps ensure that everyone understands the nature of the experience, the safety protocols in place, and the expectations for participant conduct. We'll provide the waiver during booking or on-site before your session.

Combat Aquatics is a physically active experience. While no prior experience is required, participants should be in reasonably good health and capable of moderate physical exertion.

If you have any medical concerns — including heart conditions, back or neck issues, or recent injuries — we recommend consulting with your doctor before participating. Please notify us of any medical conditions or concerns when booking so we can assess accommodations and ensure your experience is both safe and enjoyable.

  • 48 hours or more before your scheduled session: Full refund or free reschedule.

Environmental Impact

Combat Aquatics is committed to preserving the natural environment while delivering an exciting experience. We prioritize responsible practices through eco-friendly equipment and mindful operating procedures.

Our fleet features the Sea-Doo Spark Trixx, selected specifically for its low environmental footprint. Compared to traditional personal watercraft, the Spark Trixx:

  • Uses less fuel with its industry-leading Rotax 900 ACE engine for reduced emissions and consumption.
  • Produces a smaller wake, reducing shoreline erosion and minimizing disruption to other recreational activities.

The Spark Trixx is designed to run quieter than larger jet skis. Combined with our structured, instructor-led activities — which emphasize control, coordination, and deliberate maneuvers — this results in minimal noise disturbance.

Our activities are conducted in controlled areas with minimal impact on other boaters, swimmers, and anglers. Our structured, guided format allows us to operate efficiently within a compact space, ensuring we share the water responsibly.
